HEFNER OPENS LAS VEGAS PLAYBOY
HUGH HEFNER is celebrating after opening his brand new Playboy Club this weekend (07OCT06) at the $300 million (£160 million) Fantasy Tower in Las Vegas.
Hefner, 80, joined his daughter and CEO of Playboy Enterprises, CHRISTINE HEFNER, and Palms Hotel and Casino owner GEORGE MALOOF at the lavish launch.
One of Maloof’s partners in the tower, MICHAEL MORTON, says, "It’s a big deal for us, and it’s a big deal for Playboy. Hef has always been very passionate about this whole deal.
"There were times in the process, when you negotiate anything, you have challenges.
"Hef was always so positive, and he really kept it together. Hopefully, he’ll be very proud of what we’ve put together."
