Rubbish art
A pile of rubbish has been entered into a prestigious British art competition.
Rebecca Warren, from Hackney, East London, filled five display cases with items she found on the floor, including dust, hair, plastic and twigs.
She is now one of four artists who have been short-listed for the £25,000 Turner Prize and her work is currently on display at London’s Tate Britain art gallery.
Warren told Britain’s The Mirror newspaper: "I’m actually interested in what a bit of fluff and a bit of twig put in a particular order can mean.
"For somebody it could mean one thing, and for somebody else, it could mean something else."
