UNDERWOOD FRONTS LITERACY CAMPAIGN

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:03 am

AMERICAN IDOL winner CARRIE UNDERWOOD is fronting a literacy campaign in her home state of Oklahoma, alongside country singer TONY KEITH and actor JAMES GARDNER.
Underwood is appearing in a poster campaign for the Oklahoma Library Association’s ‘Read Y’all’ campaign. The posters will be distributed around every school and in libraries across the state.
Campaign coordinator BUFFY EDWARDS says, "I think Carrie Underwood just represents Oklahoma in such a positive manner. She’s grounded in her upbringing. She’s proud of her state. She appeals to a very wide age range."
