Lifestyle queen MARTHA STEWART partied with 2,000 fans to mark the 15th anniversary of her Martha Stewart Living magazine on Saturday (30SEP06).
The domestic guru, 65, was applauded by the huge crowd at Pier 94 by New York City’s Hudson River, as she related the history of her company.
She said, "This is so much fun to look back on. I’m so proud of the company I have built and the sweat and tears of so many people who worked with me.
"I’ve always tried to entertain well and be inventive and creative and come up with beautiful ideas." Stewart fell from grace in 2004 when she was found guilty of conspiracy, obstruction of justice, making false statements, and perjury following the suspicious sale of her ImClone Systems shares in 2001. After spending five months in a West Virginia prison camp, she spent six months under house arrest with her New York state home.
