CHAN: ‘THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER ME’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:57 pm

JACKIE CHAN is confident there will never be another star like him, because he created the mould for martial arts-performing Hollywood stunt actors.
The Hong Kong-born star has enjoyed a phenomenally successful career - one he doesn’t believe could be matched by the future generation of kung-fu wannabes.
Chan says, "There are dozens - probably hundreds - of young actors who have the talent to do the kinds of movies that I’ve done during my career. But because of the situation that existed when I began making movies, I don’t think there will ever be another Jackie Chan.
"When I started out, there really was nobody doing what I was doing combining comedy with martial arts and daredevil stunts. Although there are many actors who have the talent, it would be hard to reproduce the circumstances that allowed me to have the level of success that I have had.
