Celebrity chef GORDON RAMSAY was banned from driving the day after his test was scheduled, after crashing his girlfriend’s father’s car into a cottage.
As a young man, the HELL’S KITCHEN star had been driving without a license for weeks, and couldn’t believe the timing of the incident, which also saw him pay a hefty fine.
He says, "I would borrow my girlfriend’s dad’s car - even though I hadn’t passed my test.
"One night I turned a corner to see two sets of headlights coming at me - one car overtaking another. I went into a spin and into the sitting room of a cottage.
"The police picked me up three hours later, hiding in a manure dump.
"The case was the day after I was due to take my test. I was banned for a year and fined £400 ($750)."
