IRWIN WIDOW: ‘I’LL NEVER BROADCAST FOOTAGE OF STEVE’S DEATH’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:30 am

The widow of late conservationist STEVE IRWIN has refused to watch footage of her husband’s death - and won’t let others view it either.
TERRI IRWIN told American presenter BARBARA WALTERS she sees no reason why the stingray attack earlier this month (04SEP06) should be broadcast.
In an interview to air in the US tonight (27SEP06) Terri says, "What purpose would that serve?" Irwin’s friend and business partner JOHN STAINTON, who has seen the film, supports the decision.
He told Walters, "It’s just a horrible piece of film tape." The CROCODILE HUNTER star was filming underwater for his daughter’s BINDI’s new TV show when he was killed by a barb in the chest.
