CHARLES TO BEAT BURRELL IN BATTLE OF THE BOOKS
British royal PRINCE CHARLES is going head-to-head with former royal butler-turned-writer PAUL BURRELL - by releasing a cookbook.
Charles’ DUCHY ORIGINALS cookbook, due to be released this week (beg25SEP06), will be up against Burrell’s ‘expose’ of his relationship with the late DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES.
Burrell has caused controversy with his comments about the Princess, and has been accused of exploiting her memory for his own financial gain.
But Charles’ cookbook is expected to outsell Burrell’s new book, which has failed to generate large sales.
The prince will be focusing on his unhappiness with the "quality of the soulless, mass-produced food that has come to dominate the modern diet".
