British TV presenter NICK KNOWLES has been airlifted back to London after breaking his collarbone and dislocating his shoulder while filming a documentary in Kenya.
The star was in Africa shooting BBC show MISSION AFRICA, where he and co-presenter KEN HAMES oversee the construction of a game reserve in a Kenyan conservation area.
Knowles, 44, was knocked unconscious after falling head-first from a Range Rover while trying to move camera equipment. Onlookers say the presenter was in pain from severe whiplash as well as from his dislocated shoulder and broken collarbone.
He will undergo surgery today (16SEP06) in London.
