Ugly fish
A goldfish has had plastic surgery - because it was too ugly.
The fish lives at the Royal Museum of Scotland, in Edinburgh, but a number of visitors complained that it had an "unsightly" growth on its face.
Officials decided to contact surgeons because they thought visitors would assume the fish was ill.
During the operation the doctors were forced to also remove one of the fish’ s eyes.
A museum source said: "People were saying, ‘One of your fish had an unsightly growth coming out from its head.’ "They went to the reception desk saying ‘You’ve got an ill fish there.’"
