TOOL CANCEL SHOWS
Rock band TOOL were forced to cancel a concert on Tuesday night (12SEPT06) in San Antonio, Texas, after lead singer MAYNARD JAMES KEENAN became too sick to perform.
Guitarist ADAM JONES was interviewed by local radio station KISS-FM, and he explained the band’s predicament to fans.
He said, "It’s very unfortunate ’cause when I get sick or (drummer DANNY CAREY) or (bassist JUSTIN CHANCELLOR) get sick, we can still go on with the show. "But Maynard’s got a fever, he’s coughing up stuff, he’s hoarse and he doesn’t want everyone to think he sucks by going out and trying anyway. "He needs to just get over it, rest and hopefully we can continue." Jones encouraged fans to hang on to their tickets, saying that the band hoped to reschedule the gig.
