STEWART SYMPATHISES WITH McCARTNEY’S MARRIAGE WOES

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:56 pm

ROD STEWART sympathises with SIR PAUL McCARTNEY’s divorce battle with estranged wife HEATHER MILLS - because he was devastated when his ex-wife RACHEL HUNTER left him.
Stewart, 61, cites the end of his marriage to model Hunter as his "lowest point". He blames their 25 year age gap and thinks the same could be said for the McCartney/Mills split.
Stewart, who separated from the 36-year-old model in 1999, says, "When Rachel left, that was a bolt of lightning. F**k me, it was terrible. Look at Paul McCartney now. I feel so sorry for him.
"But I don’t blame Rachel. I married her too young. My eldest daughter (KIMBERLY) is now six years older than Rachel when we first met.
"But it was earth shattering when she went, I wasn’t prepared for it at all.
I grew up a lot after that."
