ELLEN’S CRASH DRIVER CHARGED WITH DRINK DRIVING
The Los Angeles motorist who rear-ended TV host ELLEN DeGENERES in Los Angeles at the beginning of the month (01SEP06) has been charged with drink driving.
JEANNE WERBER crashed her Porsche into a Buick at traffic lights, which in turn slammed into the back of DeGeneres’ Porsche on Sunset Boulevard, leaving the comedienne with an injured neck.
Werber will be arraigned on 4 October (06). She initially denied she was driving drunk, telling website TMZ.com, "I’m just a normal wife. I went to the grocery store and was going home."
