DANDO: ‘ARREST MADE ME SEEK OUT REHAB’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:44 pm

THE LEMONHEADS frontman EVAN DANDO is grateful he was arrested on drug charges in Australia in 1995, because it forced him to seek treatment for his heroin addiction.
Australian officials deported the US rocker back to America, where Dando checked into rehab.
He says, "It just happened. It was a combination of heroin withdrawal and taking acid on top of it. That’ll do it to anybody.
"I’d forgotten I had a habit. Or I kinda didn’t know I had a habit. Then I went to Australia and would have been fine if I’d just gotten some dope.
Unluckily I didn’t.
"I guess I needed to go into rehab for a little while."
