British singer LEMAR cherishes the moment acclaimed songwriter LAMONT DOZIER compared him to late soul legend MARVIN GAYE.
Lemar first found fame in the UK on talent show FAME ACADEMY and has subsequently forged a successful solo career.
And nothing has come close to the moment YOU CAN’T HURRY LOVE composer Dozier likening him to his hero.
The 28-year-old says, "Lamont Dozier was sitting at the piano next to me when we were working together.
"He has worked with Marvin Gaye and he said to me, ‘You remind me of Marvin Gaye,’ which is such a compliment."
