NOEL GALLAGHER thrilled rock fans at British music site NME.com’s tenth birthday party last night (12SEP06), when he made a surprise appearance with headliners KASABIAN.
The OASIS rocker, who performed with his pals on tracks CLUB FOOT and THE DOBERMAN at London’s Koko Club, later hailed the hitmakers as rock ‘n’ roll soulmates.
He says, "Although they are kind of heavily influenced by Oasis, I think they took the thing where it was like just get off your a**e and do it, because if you’re not going to do it, your life’s going to pass you by.
"I think in spirit they are very close to us."
