ARCTIC MONKEYS AND IMOGEN HEAP LEAD WOODIE NOMINATIONS
ARCTIC MONKEYS and IMOGEN HEAP lead the list of nominations for mtvU’s 2006 Woodie Awards with three apiece.
The Woodies, which honour music voted best by university audiences, will be announced on the 25 October (06) at a concert at Roseland Ballroom in New York City.
Also up for awards this year are ANGELS & AIRWAVES, ATMOSPHERE, GYM CLASS HEROES, PANIC! AT THE DISCO and THE ACADEMY IS. The awards will air on the 2 November (06) on mtvU.com and mtvU Mobile, then on MTV on the 4 Nov (06).
Students can vote until the 20 October at mtvU.com.
