Hilton’s publicist confirms that she was with Barker in New York saying, “They like each other. Paris really likes him. Beyond that I cannot comment.”

Sexy SALMA HAYEK resents the time she spends in the make-up chair on film sets, because it amounts to a huge chunk of her life.
The FRIDA star admits she once sat down and attempted to work out how much of her life she’ll have spent in make-up trailers and she was horrified by her sums.
She says, "It’s always so awkward for me. One day I did all the math of the hours that I’ve sat in the make-up and hair chair, and I did a projection for the future - and it was a year of my life.

HOUSE star HUGH LAURIE has found a downside to playing a top doctor on TV - the medical information he’s bombarded with in the script has left him unable to retain information.
The British actor felt sure he’d pick up valuable lifesaving tips when he took on the role of grumpy DR GREGORY HOUSE, but instead he has been left with memory loss.
He explains, "With the quantity of stuff I have to do day in and day out, you have to develop a pretty capacious short-term memory, and I’m afraid one’s long-term memory suffers as a result.
"So every interesting medical snippet or philosophical perception is gone 24 hours later.
"It’s actually affected my ability to read. I can’t read a novel now. I have to go back four pages to remind myself that the novel’s set in the 18th century… I only advance by about a half-page a day."

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN star ORLANDO BLOOM finally bought his first computer on Monday (11SEP06) after years of trying to avoid technology.
The 29-year-old star feared the computer would be a burden to him and that he would be stuck for hours on end dealing with endless emails.
He tells US talk show host JIMMY KIMMEL, "I just never wanted to buy into it.
"To be honest, the thought of sitting down in front of a computer at the end of the day and answer a million emails or just deal with it.
"And then it goes wrong, or you lose it, and then it sort of becomes this thing, you’ve got your music, your movies, your life on it and then you lose it and then what do you do when you lose it? "I mean, I’d rather just have it all in my head. If people need to get hold of me, they can get hold of me." "What I’m going to try and do is limit the number of people that have access to it so that I only have to answer my mum and my sister and I can see pictures.
"Apparently I’m on (social networking website) MySpace, there’s somebody acting like me on MySpace. Good on him, I hope he’s getting something from that!"

The cast of CSI: NEW YORK had to deal with a real life corpse Tuesday (12SEP06) when an actual mummified body was discovered inside a building where the show was shooting.
The series is actually filmed in downtown Los Angeles, not New York, and the body was found on the fifth floor of a building used as a location shoot.
According to a source the body, "was discovered by a building engineer who checked on the tenant because he had not paid rent for the month." Making matters even stranger was the fact that the show had already shot a similar episode revolving around the discovery of a mummified body.
The show’s stars, GARY SINISE and MELINA KANAKAREDES, were not on location at the time of the discovery.
Police and representative’s from the coroner’s officer were dispatched and will perform an autopsy on the remains.

LATEST: The death of ANNA NICOLE SMITH’s 20-year-old son was labelled ’suspicious’ by the coroner’s office on Wednesday (13SEP06) and a formal inquiry, which could lead to criminal charges, has been scheduled.
DANIEL SMITH was visiting his mother Sunday (10SEP06) in hospital, three days after she gave birth to a baby girl in the Bahamas, when he died unexpectedly.
According to Royal Bahamian Police Force Assistant Commissioner REGINALD FERGUSON, there was another person in the room with Daniel at the time of his death who was not a member of the hospital’s staff.
He refused to reveal the person’s identity, saying he did not want to jeopardise the investigation.
Her Majesty’s Coroner LINDA P VIRGILL has scheduled the public inquest for the week of 23 October (06).
If jurors at the inquest decide a crime took place, the case would be sent to the attorney general’s office.
Virgill says authorities believe they know the cause of death, but were awaiting a toxicology report to confirm the findings.
She said, "I can confirm that there was definitely a third person in the room at the time of death and I do know who that person is. But I am unwilling to reveal that information at this time for various reasons." Police were reconstructing Smith’s steps since his arrival Saturday (09SEP06) in the Bahamas.
Media reports in the country claimed Daniel died of a drug overdose and that various medications, along with drugs, were found in his system.
Ferguson said that no drug paraphernalia or traces of illegal drugs were found on Daniel, in the hospital room or near the room.

The Russian Government has voted against a motion to send pop queen MADONNA into space, after 252 parliament members refused to back the idea.
ALEXEI MITROFANOV, a member of the Duma (the lower house of parliament), insisted the trip would be “a great event to organise in the same year as elections in the United States and Russia,” after the singer - who performed for the first time in Russian capital Moscow on Tuesday (12SEP06) - “expressed a desire to go into space and board the ISS (International Space Station).” Mitrofanov today (13SEP06) asked members of parliament to vote on whether Russia’s space agency should consider a space flight for the MATERIAL GIRL.
Forty-two legislators voted in favour of the motion, but 252 were against it.
Madonna came under fire from Russian authorities after hitting headlines with a controversial dance routine, which features her writhing on a cross while wearing a crown of thorns.
However, she made no changes to her choreography for last night’s Moscow show, despite being targetted by religious protestors.

An insider says, "Matt was staying at Robbie’s house with his boyfriend KEVIN McGEE last Christmas. Robbie wasn’t happy with this song’s lyrics, so he just asked Matt if he had any ideas.
"He came up with some words about a bloke with obsessive compulsive disorder who wants to go out on a date but whose condition stops him leaving the house.
Rob loved it and asked Matt to sing backing vocals.

The British star - engaged to actor BILLY ZANE - swiped a copy of Vidal’s bestseller DULUTH, while looking around the pad with pals.
She tells GQ magazine, "A friend of ours in Italy had just bought Gore Vidal’s house and we went to look around and his library was just full of books and there were loads of copies so it wasn’t really stealing.
"(It was) Duluth by Gore Vidal. It wasn’t a one-off or anything. Or I hope not. I’ve never stolen anything but I thought, ‘You know what? I’m gonna steal that.’"

JIM CARREY is to bring DR SEUSS back to the big screen in 2008 - he will play the lead character in a computer-animated movie adaptation of 1954 kid’s classic HORTON HEARS A WHO.
Carrey, who played THE GRINCH in Seuss favourite HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS in 2000, will star alongside STEVE CARELL, who has signed up to play the MAYOR OF WHO-VILLE.
The movie is in pre-production at Twentieth Century Fox, with Seuss’s widow AUDREY GEISEL serving as an executive producer.
Twentieth Century Fox Animation chief CHRIS MELEDANDRI says, "Geisel had one of the greatest imaginations of the 20th century, and Jim Carrey’s extraordinary talents are a wonderful match to Geisel’s vision.
"Steve Carell will not only be bringing his great comedic abilities to the role of the Mayor but also his uncanny gift of finding the humanity in every character he plays."
