SCHWARZENEGGER TALKS FOOTBALL AT BIG GAME

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:45 pm

Hollywood action man-turned-California Governor ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER turned his attention to football last night (11SEP06) when he joined the commentary team reporting on the Oakland Raiders clash with the San Diego Chargers.
Schwarzenegger, who appears in a new futuristic, Terminator-style TV ad for US sports network ESPN’s coverage of American football, refused to take sides in the field battle, which the Chargers won 27-0.
The California Governor did take time to acknowledge the firefighters who risked their lives on 9/11 on what was the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks, calling them “the real action men.” Schwarzenegger also used his time onscreen to campaign for America’s National Football League to put a new team in Los Angeles, the only major US city without a football team.

    1. Not only did he call for an NFL team in Los Angeles, but went on to state he intends to persue a bid for a second team in neighboring Orange County, CA (I thought he may have been drinking by this point). When asked about his thoughts on steroids in sports and the need for testing, and before he could answer, did no one notice his momentary shock when the commentator added, “you of course did all these things in yor day”???
