ELLEN’S MESSAGE TO DRINK DRIVERS
Comedienne-turned-US TV host ELLEN DEGENERES has issued a warning to fans of her television talk show not to drink and drive after she was rear-ended by a Porsche last week (ends08SEP06).
DeGeneres told her studio audience during a taped show which aired today (12SEP06) that she’s still suffering from neck pain following the crash.
But she admitted she’s still struggling to come to terms that anyone is driving around Hollywood drunk at 2pm during the week.
She said, "Just don’t drink and drive because it affects people’s lives."

It’s about time there was a celebrity speaking against it rather than actually practicing it (Paris Hilton for one)…Too many lives have been lost due to dui’s…ever thought of having someone from MADD (mothers against drunk driving) do a short spot on your show?
