Hollywood actor BRAD PITT was thrilled with his role in new film BABEL because for once he wasn’t the sole focus of the movie.

The ALEJANDRO GONZALEZ INARRITU film made it’s North American debut at the Toronto Film Festival this weekend (beg08SEP06).
Pitt says, "Being a part of an ensemble is always more fun, you don’t have to carry the film.

Hollywood actor ROBIN WILLIAMS was convinced his entire career was over when TV show MORK AND MINDY was cancelled - because no one told him about it.
The MRS DOUBTFIRE star starred as space alien MORK in the show, which ran for four years before being dropped in 1982.
Williams was stunned when he found out about the show’s cancellation from trade magazine Variety.
He says, "I had to read about it in Variety. That was a pretty bad day. "I was dressed up at the time as a 3ft frog, doing THE FROG PRINCE with ERIC IDLE, and it was this kind of devastating thing where you go, ‘Well, the ride is over, the game is done.’"

Troubled British rocker PETE DOHERTY is planning to write his wedding banns in blood when he marries model girlfriend KATE MOSS.
The BABYSHAMBLES frontman, famed for his blood paintings, was reported to have turned up to an unspecified town hall in London with a vial of blood, in a bid to persuade authorities to accept his plans for an alternative marriage.
But Doherty’s dramatic pleas were flatly refused, and he was politely offered a pen instead.
A source says, "It was explained to him that there are health and safety issues and council rules. "Pete was told that there was a selection of pens he could choose from, but he decided not to bother. He clearly lives in a different world." A friend of Doherty says, "Like any couple, they need to fill in forms to announce their intention to wed - he just came up with a twist.
"He told Kate that the first official document about their union should be scrawled in his own blood so everyone knows how he feels about her."

Acclaimed actress SIGOURNEY WEAVER has lashed out at Hollywood culture, insisting it promotes an impossible body image in women.
Weaver, who will turn 57 next month (08OCT06), hates Los Angeles because the city makes her feel unattractive - and she believes the LA blondes women are supposed to be competing with are not the best role models to aspire to.
Weaver says, "No one there really tells you the truth. They all flatter you to draw you in and then stand back when there’s trouble. I’ve always felt more role models comfortable in New York - everyone’s racing around thinking they are doing the most important thing in the world. Women are more comfortable with who they are. "In Los Angeles, beauty is very tanned, blonde, white and thin and everyone is under pressure."

Original CHARLIE’S ANGELS star KATE JACKSON has blasted the film remake of the series which rocketed her to fame, insisting the movie simply seemed like a "competition" between the sexy stars.
Jackson, who starred alongside FARRAH FAWCETT and JACLYN SMITH in the successful 1970s detective show, was disappointed in the 2000 film CHARLIE’S ANGELS - because she could tell the stars CAMERON DIAZ, LUCY LIU and DREW BARRYMORE were not united.
The 57-year-old says, "I think they missed the mark. "In the TV show, Farrah, Jaclyn and I were best friends who cared for each other and I think that came through in the acting. "In the movies, they were too busy competing with each other, trying to see who could jump the highest or wear the tightest clothes."

LATEST: The Clinton Foundation is still angry with the makers of ABC drama THE PATH TO 9/11, accusing the US TV network of "choosing fiction over fact and entertainment over education".
ABC reedited the first part of the show in response to criticism from the Clinton Foundation, which suggested that the Clinton administration failed to deal with the Islamic threat before 2001. But the Foundation was still angry over the portrayal of the Clinton government, in particular the suggestion that President Clinton was "too preoccupied" with impeachment and the MONICA LEWINSKY scandal to focus on the terrorist threat.
Foundation spokesman JAY CARSON says, "Their claims of edits notwithstanding, The Path to 9/11 had Clinton administration officials saying things they did not say and doing things they did not do.
"Many of these scenes are directly contradicted by the 9/11 Commission Report. The American public deserved better."

Rapper/actor LUDACRIS insists the only reason he talks about his "balls" so much is because he insists they have been instrumental in his success.
The CRASH star admits he has used the phrase "balls" as a euphemism for courage so often, he has become particularly protective of his nether regions as a result.
He says, "You put your balls on the line. That’s how you become successful if you weren’t born into money.
"Which maybe goes into why I talk about my balls so much and why I don’t want them to get cut off in a movie. Because all I have are my balls and my word."

And the troubled musician, who was dealing with deep depression and panic attacks at the time, soon fell deeply in love with Graham, calling her his "angel".
But although he insists she Goddard says, "With her pure blue eyes and gentle smile, Heather seemed like an angel to me. She was beautiful but unaffected by the effect she had on men.
"I was instantly mesmerised. This was serious. It didn’t create the usual desire to run a mile when a relationship got serious. My diary is full of love for Heather - I was using the word without fear.
"When I was with her I felt happy. But the rest of the time I suffered bouts of depression and fear. I was scared of losing Heather."

British girl group ALL SAINTS were so furious when they were reportedly stopped from flying first class to shoot their new pop video, the filming had to be moved from Cuba to Europe in a hurried bid to meet the singers’ demands.
The recently reunited pop singers - NATALIE and NICOLE APPLETON, SHAZNAY LEWIS and MELANIE BLATT - were horrified to discover they would either have to travel separately or in economy class in order to travel to South America.
Because of the supposed ticket tantrums the foursome will now film their comeback track ROCK STEADY in Romania.
An insider tells the Press Association, "Weeks of planning went into doing the shoot in Cuba. Producers had booked flights for all the staff, hired equipment and arranged locations. But the girls weren’t able to sit first class on the same flight. "They either had to go separately or sit in economy - which was seen as totally unacceptable."

British pop star LILY ALLEN was left red-faced after she and her friends were kicked out of a pub for bad behaviour.
The outspoken daughter of comedian KEITH ALLEN upset staff and clientele at the Hare And Hounds pub on the Isle of Wight, off the South coast of England, when she and her friends started spitting mouthfuls of beer at one another.
And the singer, who performed at the Bestival festival on Saturday (09SEP06) was asked to leave after her behaviour got out of hand.
A witness says, "They began acting like a bunch of kids, spitting and spraying their drinks at each other.
"Booze was going everywhere - it was a real mess. They’d been asked a few times to cut it out but took no notice so, in the end, they were told to leave.
"None of us realised it was Lily Allen - we just thought she was some kid playing up."

LATEST: SEAN ‘DIDDY’ COMBS has made an out-of-court settlement for £110,000 ($200,000) after being sued by a UK music producer also called Diddy.
Combs has changed his name from Puff Daddy to P Diddy to simply Diddy in 2005. However, British DJ RICHARD ‘DIDDY’ DEARLOVE has been using the moniker for over 10 years.
The settlement means Combs is banned from using the name Diddy in the UK. He has also been ordered to pay Dearlove’s £100,000 ($182,000) court costs and £10,000 ($18,000) in damages.
Dearlove says, "I suffered from a head injury in 2001, when Sean Combs changed his name to P Diddy. I lost my sight for three years and couldn’t work.
"I was all ready to go last year (05), then, in August, he changed his name to Diddy. I was gutted.
"I started getting emails from Puerto Rican girls asking if they could be in my video and people were asking me to look at their clothing line." Dearlove made a name for himself with his remixes of classic songs including ATOMIC by BLONDIE.
