DODI FAYED was planning to propose to DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES on the night of their tragic deaths in a Paris, France, car crash in 1997, according to his butler.
REBE DELORM insists his late employer told him to chill a bottle of champagne "because I’m going to propose to the princess tonight".
He says, "(Dodi) was sweeping Diana off her feet across Europe. Theirs was a love for the ages. They would still be married today if they had lived." And Delorm hits out at PAUL BURRELL, the former butler of the late British royal, who claims Diana saw her relationship with Fayed as nothing more than a fling.
He says, "Paul Burrell is a liar. He was not in the picture for Diana’s future. Diana planned major changes in her life, and Burrell was not a part of that."
