JACKASS star JOHNNY KNOXVILLE pulled the ultimate prank on the show’s director and cinematographer - by putting them in charge of a gay cruise.
The DUKES OF HAZZARD star felt it was time to pay a quirky tribute to JEFF TREMAINE and DIMITRY ELYASHKEVICH, and he hired a billboard in the heart Los Angeles’ gay community to expose his mates as the guys behind a fictional gay cruise.
He giggles, "We got to the intersection where the billboard was (and) I said, ‘Wow, what’s that up there?’ "Jeff looked at it for a second, and then a huge smile came across his face.
"Dimitry said, ‘Wow that really looks like me.’ Then a full three seconds went by… and he said, ‘That is me!’ Then he started laughing.
"He was touched by it all. He kept saying, `You would do that for me? How much did that cost?’"

New dad BRAD PITT insists the way he goes about choosing roles is much different now that he has three children. The OCEANS ELEVEN star claims he is much more careful because he wants his children to be proud of his choices. Pitt has a three-month-old daughter, SHILOH, with ANGELINA JOLIE, as well as ZAHARA, 1, and MADDOX, 5.
He explains, "My thoughts these days are, ‘Oh, my God, what did I do? What are they going to see from the past?’ "It definitely colours what I’ll approach in the future. I’ll try to be a little bit more mature about my decisions."

The star is constantly asked when she is tying the knot with her longtime boyfriend and appeared on US chat show THE VIEW Monday (11SEP06) to address the relentless rumours.
She said, "It doesn’t drive me crazy. I understand. I was a fan of other celebrities and I wanted to know (if they were getting married). I was interested. "It’s a part of my job. We’ve never talked about it and it’s kind of protected our relationship. "I think it’s kind of kept us out of a lot of drama in the tabloids. Even though we’re still in them, it’s not as much as some celebrities." When asked if she’s ever considered switching places with her beau, with her trying to rap and him trying to sing, she adds, "Oh, no, never! I’m like the worst rapper and he’s not a great singer!"

Glossy magazine VANITY FAIR is already benefitting from publishing the first photos of TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES new baby SURI by hitting a record 4.3 million page views on their website in just one day.
The October (06) issue features a 22-page photo spread of the Cruise family shot by celebrity photographer ANNIE LEIBOVITZ. The issue hit newsstands in New York City and Los Angeles on 6 September (06), but the world could view the photos online at vanityfair.com late Tuesday (05SEP06) night - and hits on the site rocketed to nearly three times the previous record for page views when the magazine posted a picture of KEIRA KNIGHTLEY and SCARLETT JOHANSSON appearing nude for TOM FORD’s Hollywood issue in February (06).
Meanwhile, new details have emerged about exactly how the magazine managed to keep its exclusive pictures a secret.
Comag Market Group Vice President JOE BERTOLINO, who distributes the magazine, said the operation was three weeks in the making and credits Vanity Fair editor in chief GRAYDON CARTER with masterminding the exclusive deal.
Neither Carter’s staff or members of Bertolino’s marketing group were allowed to see the images ahead of time.
A private security firm was hired to guard the magazine as it was being printed and it shipped one day late, with the front of the issue covered by a protective piece of paper to prevent leaks.
Bertolino says security did catch an infiltrator at one distribution point from a competing weekly magazine. He declined to name the publication, saying only that it was not owned by a "reputable" magazine company.

The actress, who plays a wealthy socialite in love with petty thief Bloom in the new film, admits she was terrified about shooting love scenes with him, but he made her feel comfortable.
She explains, "It’s good to have a familiar face and one you can trust.
"Whenever they would say ‘Cut’ he wouldn’t just get up, if I was lying on his chest; he would wait until they would bring me my robe and I find that to be so meaningful for a woman."

SCRUBS star ZACH BRAFF agreed to set up a blog page on Internet community site MySpace.com after the brains behind the project promised to help him combat bloggers who were stealing his identity.
Braff now has a blog site on MySpace.com, which allows fans to chat directly to him and share their favourite music with him - and, in return, he doesn’t have to worry about people pretending to be him.
He explains, "I met the guy from MySpace, who was a really cool guy, and I told him I didn’t want anything to do with MySpace because there were, like, 10 imposters on there.
"Obviously there are people who are my fans who are seeking me out on there and I keep my own blog but it doesn’t have nearly the traffic of MySpace - a hundred million people.
"He said, ‘I can get rid of those for you in one click of a button.’ "So it made sense to start a profile on MySpace. What they did was get rid of all the people who were faking to be me. Now if people search for me they’ll see the imposters will have 100 friends, whereas my current one has 18,000 friends, so I think they’ll get that that’s the real one."

US TV actor DAVID JAMES ELLIOTT has spent the past week recovering after falling from his bicycle while riding in Los Angeles on Friday (01SEP06).
The former JAG star, who is a part-time triathlete, required stitches on his ear and forehead after taking a tumble.
The actor’s wife picked him up and took him to the emergency room.
Elliott, who competed in an Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii last year (05), will return to work on the set of drama CLOSE TO HOME tomorrow (12SEP06).

Action man DWAYNE JOHNSON is keen to drop his ‘THE ROCK’ tagline that he won during his days as a pro-wrestler.
Johnson was known simply as THE ROCK in his first movie roles, but now he feels he deserves the respect of his peers and critics alike, and wants to be known by his full name.
He explains, "From now on please call me Dwayne Johnson. I want to be known as Dwayne Johnson the actor, and not The Rock.
"I loved The Rock; The Rock was a nickname but what’s happened is it’s naturally progressed into Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. When it becomes just Dwayne Johnson, as it will in the next movie Southland Tales, that’s fine.
"I never wanted to make that defining statement. It just didn’t feel right to me."

Funnyman ZACH BRAFF has been told to ease off comedic stunts in his show SCRUBS after rupturing a disc in his back.
The actor, who plays comedy doctor JOHN DORIAN on the medical sitcom, is famous for his pratfalls and comic stunts, but he’s been advised to keep them to a minimum as a back injury heals.
He says, "It’ll heal. I have been doing most of my own stunts on Scrubs, and this season I’ll probably have to back off while it heals.
"This first episode I got back there and there was so much stufff I could see my orthopaedist waking up in his sleep.
"So I’ll have to have my stuntman do some of the crazier things this year."

LATEST: ANNA NICOLE SMITH’s 20-year-old son died of a "massive heart attack" while visiting his mother and newborn sister in their hospital room over the weekend (ends10SEP06), according to media reports.
DANIEL SMITH had flown to the Bahamas on Saturday (09SEP06) to join his mother and was in her hospital room Sunday (10SEP06) when he suddenly collapsed.
According to The Nassau Guardian, sources say Daniel reportedly suffered a "massive heart attack" and his mother made an unsuccessful attempt to revive him.
Police officials immediately put the hospital on a security lock-down and remained tight-lipped about the incident, pending an investigation.
Police Press Liaison Officer Inspector WALTER EVANS confirmed the death yesterday (10SEP06) saying, "This morning a Caucasian male was discovered sometime after 9 am.
"The cause of death has not been determined and an autopsy has to be performed. Once we would have (carried out) an autopsy, (this) would confirm the exact cause of death." Soon after word of the death leaked out, members of the press descended on the hospital and were immediately rushed into a conference room.
Hospital staff hustled the baby out into a waiting van, while Anna Nicole’s lawyer, HOWARD K STERN, rushed out to the hospital parking lot at the same time.
Anna Nicole was reportedly whisked out of a backdoor exit, while Daniel’s body was taken out through a side door and driven away in a hearse.

The PIMP MY RIDE star plays an American football coach in the new THE ROCK film and spent weeks thanking his lucky stars that he turned his back on the life many of the delinquents he came into contact with on location had chosen.
He explains, "I was doing dumb s**t, getting caught at state fairs with guns; ridiculous stuff because I didn’t have anything to focus on.
"I was angry; my mother had passed when I was nine, my dad got remarried and we moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, which was a culture shock and difficult for me to adjust.
"I was acting out and I did end up in these facilities. It was a conscious decision because my father was a Marine and he was going nuts: ‘What’s wrong with you boy?’ "When I left I was 17 and came to California and I started to realise, ‘You know what, I’m smarter than this.’ I realised if I continue going down the path I’m going on I’m gonna end up dead.
"It’s easy to fall in line with everyone else but hard to step out on your own."

ROD STEWART is harbouring plans to reform 1970s supergroup THE FACES for the first time in 30 years after previously turning down offers to reteam with KENNEY JONES and RON WOOD.
The group have performed briefly at rare awards shows, leading fans to hope the get-togethers would inspire the old bandmates to team up for a full tour.
But despite efforts by keyboard player IAN McLAGAN, Jones and Wood, the STAY WITH ME rockers simply couldn’t commit to anything firm, but now it appears Stewart is on board for a reunion show.
He says, "It’d be great to put the band together for charity, a one-off event. Ronnie is always up for it, so’s Ian and Kenney. We’d just need to find ourselves a bass player." The Faces bassist, RONNIE LANE, lost his battle with Multiple Sclerosis in 1997.
But McLagan, who has often joined Stewart on tour as part of his band, fears Stewart’s words will lead to nothing and urges fans not to get their hopes up.
He adds, ""Kenney wants it to happen, I want it to happen, Woody wants it to happen. Rod talks about it, but he never does anything about it.
"He’d enjoy it… but I think he wouldn’t want to split the money like we used to. He could make me a millionaire in three weeks if he wanted."

The LONDON BRIDGE singer, real name STACY FERGUSON, has worked hard to overcome a crippling addiction to crystal meth.
She tells Time magazine the drug, "was the hardest boyfriend I ever had to break up with.
"I dug deep as to why I got there. It’s the drug that’s addicting. But it’s why you start doing it in the first place that’s interesting. A lot of it was being a child actor, I learned to suppress feelings." The singer, who has just released her first solo album, THE DUTCHESS, says she now uses performing to vent her feelings, adding, "When we’re on tour I have an hour and a half of performing every night and improvising. If there’s a rafter, I can climb right on it!"
