STREEP BEMUSED BY RED CARPET ‘RULES’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:55 am

Actress MERYL STREEP is baffled by the "rule" that actresses must never wear the same dress twice - because she still hits the red carpet in outfits from the 1970s.
Streep, who plays an impossibly immaculate fashion editor in new movie THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, admits she is too reluctant to spend money to throw out a dress after just one outing.
She says, "Who made up these rules you can’t wear anything twice? "You get nasty magazines coming after actresses and I laugh, because I wear some things three or four times to openings and functions.
"Well, they come back in style - and I hate spending money."
