BRESLIN BANNED FROM BAD LANGUAGE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:29 am

Young star ABIGAIL BRESLIN was banned from hearing any foul language or adult conversations while shooting hit independent film LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE and was forced to wear headphones to muffle any possible obscenities. The 10-year-old’s co-stars wanted to ensure she wasn’t exposed to any racy dialogue and made sure she listened to music when any inappropriate scenes arose.
Breslin plays a young beauty pageant contestant in the film alongside ALAN ARKIN, STEVE CARRELL and GREG KINNEAR. She appeared on US chat show THE VIEW Thursday (07SEPT06) where she explained, "I was listening to headsets in the movie and there was actually music playing in it because Alan he didn’t want me to hear the bad words." Co-host BARBARA WALTERS asked if she ever happened to take the headsets off and listen to what was being said. Well-behaved Breslin added, "No, I didn’t. I didn’t, but I wanted to!"
