SEN CHARMS SNAKE ON FILM SET

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:57 am

Former Indian beauty queen-turned-actress SUSHMITA SEN stunned co-stars on the set of her new movie ZINDAGI ROCKS when she charmed a venomous snake which had slithered onto the set.
The Bollywood star chanted Hindu hymns to calm the snake as cast and crew attempted to flee.
Director TANUJA CHANDRA says, "As she (Sen) went closer, the snake hissed. We all moved back, but Sushmita went down on her knees and closed her eyes. She bowed before the snake and chanted some mantras." The snake was left frozen to the spot for several hours and later left the set.
Sen, a former MISS UNIVERSE, tells the Mumbai Mirror newspaper, "The snake is considered very auspicious so I asked everyone not to get scared. I assured Tanuja that, with the blessings of Nag Devta (Indian snake god), the film is bound to rock."
