JAZZ STAR DEWEY DIES
Jazz great DEWEY REDMAN has died of liver failure. He was 75.
The Texas-born saxophonist, full name WALTER DEWEY REDMAN, is considered one of the greatest avant-garde jazz stars of the 20th century, and was a much-loved bandleader.
Redman, who passed away on Saturday (02SEP06) after nearly a decade of illness, is survived by his wife LIDIJA PEDEVSKA and their two sons.
