TYSON: ‘MY LIFE HAS BEEN A WASTE’
Former boxing champ MIKE TYSON has no idea why JAMIE FOXX wants to play him in a new biopic - because he is convinced his life has been "a waste." The once-feared fighter, nicknamed IRON MIKE, has been reduced to training for cash as a tourist attraction in Las Vegas, Nevada, in an effort to pay off debts.
The world’s former heavyweight champion’s Tyson Training Camp exhibition at the Aladdin/Planet Hollywood hotel is drawing in the crowds, but the boxer wants no one’s pity or praise.
Tyson tells website TMZ.com, "I don’t see myself in the perspective that everyone else seems (to see me). I think the 40 years of my life have been a waste."
