SIMPSON STRUGGLED WITH LONELINESS
JESSICA SIMPSON struggled with crippling bouts of loneliness after her divorce from ex-husband NICK LACHEY and admits she missed falling asleep in his arms.
The IRRESISTIBLE star has reportedly started dating singer JOHN MAYER, her first serious relationship since separating from Lachey last November (05).
She tells Glamour magazine, "There are moments when I would love to fall asleep with my head on somebody’s shoulder just because I was used to that for so long. I miss that." Unlike her ex-husband, Simpson refuses to talk about the couple’s divorce, calling it a "sacred" subject that she discusses only with her friends, family and God.
When asked about her reaction to Lachey’s candid interview with Rolling Stone magazine earlier this year (06), Simpson said, "People kept that away from me."
