MANILOW HONOURED BY LAS VEGAS HILTON BOSSES

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 12:04 pm

BARRY MANILOW has been given a big boost as he recovers from hip surgery - his Las Vegas Hilton bosses have taken out a full-page ad to congratulate the showman on his Emmy win.
The COPACABANA singer took home an Emmy last Sunday night (27AUG06) for his MUSIC & PASSION TV special - hours before checking into hospital for the surgery to correct his painful problem.
And now Hilton bosses TOM BARRACK and NICK RIBIS splashed out for an ad in the Los Angeles Times newspaper (01SEP06) to let Manilow know just what he means to the hotel and casino, where he has been a resident performer for the past year.
In the ad, the hotel bosses write, "Winning the Emmy is just one more acknowledgement of your enduring talent. You and your show are the best in the business and we are honoured that you call the Las Vegas Hilton your home."
