KNOWLES: ‘DESTINY’S CHILD STILL SUPPORT EACH OTHER’
BEYONCE KNOWLES still phones her former DESTINY’S CHILD bandmates to ask what they think of her solo material.
Knowles admits she sometimes forgets she no longer works with KELLY ROWLAND and MICHELLE WILLIAMS, but the trio continue to support one another.
She says, "I still feel like I’m part of a group. I still have to call them and ask, ‘Did you like this song? Did you like this video?’ "I did this awards show - it was my first time performing DEJA VU and I was terrified. But right there in the front row were Kelly and Michelle, and if I couldn’t have seen them, I wouldn’t have been able to go into the zone. The second I saw them I was like, ‘OK, I can relax.’"
