AGBAJE STRIKES OUT FOR BLACK BRITONS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 6:38 pm

LOST star ADEWALE AKINNUOYE-AGBAJE is so frustrated he is never cast as a Black Briton in American movies, he is making his own film to redress the balance.
The 39-year-old Londoner travelled to Hollywood because he was convinced there would be more work for him there.
But he finds the opportunities he has been given limiting, and he is taking positive action.
He says, "The only work I’ve done here has been in American films such as THE MUMMY RETURNS and I never play a Brit.
"I’m trying to change that by making my own film about black British people.
I’ve already got backing for it, so it’s an exciting time."
