FARRELL ‘STALKER’ MISSES COURT DATE
The woman accused of stalking COLIN FARRELL failed to show up in court yesterday (28AUG06) in the latest legal battle between the pair.
Santa Monica, California, court Judge JOHN REID extended a restraining order barring DESSARAE BRADFORD from going within 150 yards (137 metres) of Farrell for three years.
Bradford has launched a $10 million (£5.5 million) lawsuit against Farrell, claiming he stalked and sexually harassed her. Two previous attempts to sue the MIAMI VICE actor have failed.
Last month (JUL06), the former phone-sex operator leaped from the crowd at THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO while Farrell was being interviewed, before being escorted from the studio. She claims she was attempting to serve him with court papers.
Farrell was also absent from the courthouse, but his attorney JEFF McFARLAND told Judge Reid he planned to seek a restraining order for Farrell in his native Ireland - after Bradford told interviewers she planned to visit him there.
