BRANCH MAKES COUNTRY MUSIC HISTORY
MICHELLE BRANCH’s new duo has made country music history by becoming the first twosome to top the US Hot Country Songs chart with their first single for 15 years.
Branch’s THE WRECKERS have hit the top of the country chart with LEAVE THE PIECES - a first for a country couple since BROOKS & DUNN scored a number one with BRAND NEW MAN in 1991.
And they’re only the second female duo since the inception of the chart in 1944 to hit the top.
The Wreckers is a collaboration between Branch and longtime pal JESSICA HARP.
