RICHARD FELT SORRY FOR ‘HAGGARD’ BLAIR

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:35 am

Veteran singer SIR CLIFF RICHARD offered British Prime Minister TONY BLAIR the use of his luxurious villa in Barbados because he thought the leader looked tired.
The 65-year-old star was moved by pictures during the 2003 Iraq war depicting a tired Blair and felt that allowing him to holiday in his house was simply the right thing to do.
Richard says, "I first lent them my house in Barbados because I saw Tony on television during the war and he seemed dwindled and haggard.
"The idea was to do a good deed for someone doing a terrible job."
