Los Angeles florist shop Mark’s Garden provided 500 centrepieces for the Governors Ball - the Emmy’s official party - featuring 30,000 South American roses and hydrangeas flown in from Holland. Floral designer MARK HELD also provided flowers for celebrity brides including HEIDI KLUM, JESSICA SIMPSON, JENNIFER LOPEZ, BRITNEY SPEARS and TORI SPELLING.

The sweltering temperatures on the Emmy red carpet made it a challenge for the stars to keep themselves looking good, but it also claimed one journalist when an NBC reporter passed out on the red carpet. Emmy staffers responded by passing out water to other journalists covering the event.
