USHER’S BROADWAY DISTRACTION
USHER reprimanded music mogul CLIVE DAVIS when the record boss’ mobile phone went off during his Broadway premiere of CHICAGO on Tuesday night (22AUG06).
The R&B star - who is playing BILLY FLYNN in the New York production recognised Arista Records founder’s trademark ring all the way from the stage and confronted him at the after-show party, reports the New York Daily News.
According to the newspaper, Usher joked, "Give me your phone!"
