MUSTAINE BLASTS UN ON ALBUM
MEGADETH frontman DAVE MUSTAINE is so furious with the United Nations (UN), he has named the metal group’s forthcoming album UNITED ABOMINATIONS.
The SKIN O’ MY TEETH rocker has joined critics of the UN, who claim the organisation has been too slow to respond to humanitarian crises in countries, such as Sudan and Rwanda.
Mustaine fumes, "I was watching TV and saw the trucks that said UN on them and said, ‘Man, you are so uncool, ineffective, anything.’ "I thought, ‘Wow, I’ve got to run with this. I got it - United Abominations, because it’s an abomination what they’re doing.’"
