DOUGLAS WILL BE TOUGH FATHER-IN-LAW
Hollywood actor MICHAEL DOUGLAS almost lost his chance to marry CATHERINE ZETA-JONES after her father DAI JONES disapproved of him.
Douglas, who has two children with the Welsh beauty, had to work hard to get permission from Jones for the marriage, as he was worried about the actor’s sex-addict reputation.
And now the BASIC INSTINCT star, 61, is determined to put any future son-in-laws through the same tough experience.
Douglas says, “When my daughter CARYS wants to get married I’ll be as rough with the guy as Catherine’s dad was when he checked me out. He gave me the once over and then some.”
