CLOONEY’S MALARIA FEARS
GEORGE CLOONEY feared he had contracted malaria during a trip to Africa earlier this year (06).
The actor visited the Darfur region of Sudan to raise awareness of the plight of refugees in the war-torn region.
When he returned he fell ill and began to display symptoms of the deadly tropical disease, which is rife across Africa.
A spokesperson tells PageSix.com, “George does not have malaria, but he felt like he had the effects of it at one point. It was food poisoning from the flight back from Darfur.”
