SHAKIRA AND CHILI PEPPERS ARE TOP OF THE POPS IN EUROPE
SHAKIRA has made it seven consecutive weeks at the top of the European singles chart, with her collaboration with WYCLEF JEAN, HIPS DON’T LIE.
The hip-shaking Colombian has seen off challenges from RIHANNA’s UNFAITHFUL, GNARLS BARKLEY’s CRAZY, CHRISTINA AGUILERA’s AIN’T NO OTHER MAN and PLAGE UP MUSIC’s COUPLE DE BOULE, which occupy second, third, fourth and fifth spots.
RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS have climbed to the top of the album chart with STADIUM ARCADIUM, knocking previous number one MUSE to sixth place. NELLY FURTADO’s LOOSE is second, SHAKIRA’s ORAL FIXATION VOL. 2 is third and JAN DELAY’s MERCEDES DANCE and SLATER’s CHRIST ILLUSION sit fourth and fifth.
