LOST LILLY HAPPY WITH EMMY SNUB
Hollywood actress EVANGELINE LILLY is glad LOST was overlooked at this year’s (AUG06) Emmy Awards - because she doesn’t want the show cast and crew to become complacent.
Despite being last year’s (05) award-winning drama at the Emmys, Lost received no nominations this year.
Lilly, who plays KATE on the show, says, “My first reaction to it was, ‘Good.’ “I don’t want us to become that show that becomes so righteous, so above everything else, that we’re untouchable.
“When we started, our big question was, ‘Will anybody even watch this show?’ And then when people started watching, we were thrilled. And then when we got recognised critically, we were beside ourselves.
“So, when we didn’t get nominated, all we had to do was remember where we came from.”
