Robbers stuck for cash
A Malaysian bank robbery was foiled when an excavator used to steal the cash machine got stuck.
The robbers were using a stolen excavator to dig two cash machines out of a bank in Kuala Terengganu, when its digging arm got stuck in the bank’s ceiling.
The suspects, who had been working for more than an hour to free the machines, were forced to escape empty-handed.
Just last week, local thieves loaded a cash machine into their truck but were disappointed to find it was empty, so they dumped it before escaping.
