Cops sniff out drugs stash
Arizona police tracked down a stash of marijuana hidden in a house using their noses.
The sheriff deputies were on an early morning call when they caught a whiff of fresh weed coming from the house next door.
The smell got stronger as they approached the building.
After obtaining a warrant they entered to find the house empty but with 1,835 pounds of marijuana in a hidden room, behind a false wall.
A spokeswoman for the sheriff department said: “The house was obviously a stash house and had no furniture.” It was the eighth stash house discovered in the town this year.
