The New York-based publication — which provides an annual ranking of the nation’s top contractors based upon total revenue — ranked Big-D Construction 96 in the nation for 2009; up from 115 in 2008.

This is the twenty-first consecutive year Big-D has earned a spot in the listing. ENR listed its total revenue for 2008 in excess of $688 million, a 27 percent revenue increase from last year.

In addition to being ranked at #96 in the top 400 contractors (23 rd largest in the western United States), Big-D was also listed as:

- The fifth largest Food Processing contractor in the nation (second largest in the western United States)
- The ninth largest Aerospace contractor
- The 14 th largest Distribution and Warehouse contractor (fourth largest in the western United States)
- The 17 th largest Retail contractor (8 th largest in the western United States)
