Engle Martin & Associates, Inc., a national insurance adjusting and claims management firm, has opened an office in Portland, OR. Portland marks the 29 th location for Engle Martin. This is the company’s second office in the Pacific Northwest. The Seattle office has been open for seven years under the leadership of Steve DeKoekkoek, a National General Adjuster with over 20 years experience as an independent and company adjuster.

Trevor Arnold and Mike Kalby are the two Senior Adjusters managing the Portland office. Arnold has been with Engle Martin for three years having worked in the insurance industry for seven years including four years as a property adjuster with Safeco. Since joining Engle Martin, Arnold has worked Hurricane Ike in the Gulf

region and the winter storms of 2007 and 2008 in the Northwest. A native of the Northwest, Arnold specializes in commercial property and liability assignments. “My goal is to provide the most timely, consistent and accurate adjusting services for our existing and future clients within Oregon and Washington,” says Arnold.

Although new to Engle Martin, Mike Kalby has worked in the industry for 10 years at both insurance companies and independent adjusting companies – most recently for Plover and Associates in Portland as a Senior Adjuster. His focus will be commercial property and liability assignments. Kalby adds, “I am pleased to be a part of the growth of Engle Martin & Associates in the Oregon and Washington markets and look forward to applying my Northwest experience.”
