Energy Industries Superannuation Scheme (EISS) Appoints Northern Trust for Asset Servicing

Northern Trust has been selected by the Energy Industries Superannuation Scheme (EISS) to provide a full range of master custody and related services to the AU$4.3 billion (approximately US$3.9 billion) fund.

"This appointment follows a detailed search and due diligence across the major custodians in Australia,” noted EISS Chief Executive Officer Alexander Hutchison. "The custodian is a key strategic partner in the provision of services for the fund and competition in this space has significantly increased over the past few years.
