Emtec, Inc.® (OTCBB:ETEC), an Information Technology (IT) systems integrator, announced today that Sunil Misra has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief Strategy and Delivery Officer for Emtec.

In this role, Mr. Sunil is responsible for all of Emtec’s services and delivery operations. In addition, he will lead the corporate strategy team to help grow and enhance the

company’s portfolio of services through internal development as well as acquisitions.

Mr. Misra’s appointment further supports and enables the growth of Emtec’s investments in Business Service Management, IT Service Management, IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) services, Value Based Management and software services capabilities in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Applications, Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, as well as infrastructure services in all market sectors. Mr. Misra brings extensive experience in the IT services sector in both infrastructure and applications practice areas.

In his most recent role, Mr. Misra was a vice president at Getronics, a $3.5 billion IT outsourcing and systems integration subsidiary of KPN, a $20 billion European telecom provider. At Getronics, Mr. Misra was responsible for leading the consulting division which included practice areas such as IT strategy, IT Service Management, Infrastructure Optimization, Information Security and Unified Communications. Prior to Getronics, Mr. Misra held a number of senior executive roles with global responsibilities at Unisys, a $5.5 billion IT services organization including vice president, managing partner and chief security advisor for the Unisys Worldwide Enterprise Security Practice with over 1500 consultants globally. Mr. Misra has also led several other global business lines for Unisys, including the Real Time Infrastructure unit, the Document Management and Workflow business and a systems integration practice.

Mr. Misra is a recognized industry expert in the areas of security and privacy, infrastructure, software as a service, and cloud computing. He is a frequently invited speaker at leading industry events and has been interviewed by a broad range of business and IT media including BusinessWeek, Fortune, CNBC, CBS MarketWatch, Bloomberg, and InfoWorld, among many others. Mr. Misra was a winner of a National Merit Scholarship and received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi and master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from RPI in New York.
