EMS Technologies Announces Management Change

EMS Technologies, Inc. announced today that its Board of Directors and Paul B. Domorski have agreed that Mr. Domorski is leaving the position of President and Chief Executive Officer, which he has held since 2006.

In addition, Mr. Domorski is resigning as a member of the Board of Directors.

Mr. Mowell also stated, “We are very appreciative of Paul’s dedication and

leadership during his years of service. He has been particularly instrumental in expanding the Company’s position into additional communications and tracking technologies and markets, and played important roles in both developing and executing long-term strategies for our business.”

Neilson A. Mackay, who has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer during the past year, has been elected as President and Chief Executive Officer, and also as a member of the Board of Directors. John B. Mowell, Chairman of the Board, stated, “Our Board is confident that Neil has the experience and the in-depth operational and technical skills to be an effective leader in the current challenging economic and technical environments. We feel fortunate to fill this role with a proven executive from within our ranks, particularly one with Neil’s long experience in our important aeronautical businesses, and with his ability to navigate our complex technologies.”

Prior to becoming Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Mackay had served as Executive Vice President — Strategy, and as Vice President — Corporate Development and President of EMS SATCOM. In those roles, he was deeply involved in identifying and negotiating potential acquisitions. He served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of SATCOM from 2001 to 2007, during which period SATCOM’s annual revenues grew from $22.4 million to $112.5 million. He joined the Company in January 1993, when the Company acquired an Ottawa, Ontario-based space satellite communications business of which he served as President, following earlier successful service as CEO of other companies.
