Produced by Media Consulting of Lisbon, Portugal, the 6th issue of E3 Agency Network's Global Insights Magazine (GIM) looks at how video can bring life to communications.
The latest issue of Global Insights Magazine (GIM) from E3 Agency Network edited by Media Consulting focuses on new ways businesses are using video to connect with audiences and amplify their messages in visual and socially-compelling ways.
“The era of presenting marketing solutions based solely on the brand’s point of view is over,” said Paula Gustavo, Managing Director of Media Consulting (www.mediaconsulting.pt), a communications agency based in Lisbon, Portugal. “It is time to focus on the consumer. Video is a medium that lets brands engage consumers in a more personal way.”
The sixth issue of GIM discusses if an how video is still a “sure-fire” tool for social media success. It also covers key elements of successful viral video campaigns, examples
of ways customers have used video to increase their audience following, and input from countries around the world about what works in video marketing. The magazine presents tips for way to optimize videos published to YouTube and other video sharing sites, as well how to measure the impact.
“That’s important because the numbers for YouTube continue to be staggering: more than 800 million unique visitors and more than three billion hours of video are watched every month,” said Gustavo.
On the international spectrum, video plays a role in engaging audiences across cultures. In many cases, these efforts are tied in with social media campaigns, and promotional web sites or offers. “Keeping up with the many Chinese versions of various social media apps can be a challenge,” said Mike Golden, owner of Adsmith China, a PR agency focused on Asian markets that participated with his opinion in this issue (one of several E3 agencies invited). “Promotions that use location-based sites such as Jin Jin and tie-ins with WeChat can help campaigns reach larger audiences.”
Published monthly, each issue of Global Insights is edited by a different E3 member agency. Issues address timely, relevant marketing topics such as digital media, government marketing, and B2B branding – always with an international outlook. Global Insights is available free at the E3 Network (www.e3network.com/GIMs) and by email subscription.
